It's been a couple years since Linkin Park has done a collaboration. At this time, who do you think would be a great future collaboration? Do you think Linkin Park will ever do a collaboration again?

Adele, evanescence, STP :bradwink: , the black keys, muse, U2. I'm not sure it'd just be cool for any collab

As I say in every thread about this topic, I'm more interested in seeing the individual band members go out on their own and collaborating with others rather than the whole band working with another artist

Mike has worked with Avicii for his new record so..I don't want more EDM stuff for sure.
I would love to see another collab in the form of Reanimation, but not necessarily a remix album. I mean, they can reach out to their favourite underground musicians and create something truly original. That'd be awesome.

Has it been confirmed that that collaboration made the cut for the album?

    What? When? How? Where?

Anyway, what about DJ Fresh and Tech N9ne?

EDIT: Well would you look at that? Had no idea.

The writer of that article obviously hasn't heard any Linkin Park since Given Up was released as a single.

On topic: Yes, I would love to see LP collaborate with another artist of some kind (don't much care who, as long as they are a respected musician and not just a stage performer, if that makes sense). It would also be great to see them reach out to other artists as well, like with the case of Mike Shinoda/Avicii.

Why this thread again? How long until we get poured with "Eminem", and other crazy stuff like that.

I wonder how an actual Daft Punk/LP collaboration would do. Not the remixes or mashups...entirely new stuff

I was thinking about Transformers, then I had this weird idea of LP collaborating with Tyrese...

    Honestly, I'd say no one.

Like minuteforce said above, it'd be better if the band members go out and do some collaboration on their own without bringing the band in. I just don't like the idea of Linkin Park feat. Artist X. For example, Mike has the whole Fort Minor scene with Styles of Beyond, Lupe, and others, while Chester has Stone Temple Pilots and Dead by Sunrise, and it should stay that way.

I'm also fine with remixes, evidenced by Mike's remix of Metric's "Gold Guns Girls." Who knows, maybe Joe will remix a full version of the Black Rock Shooter theme song...actually that's not going to happen.

I agree. I am not comfortable with LP Feat Artist X. I would like them to keep collaborations outside of Linkin Park music. If they do work with other artists, I'd prefer it on a remix release or something, like they have done so many times before. I wouldn't feel comfortable at all with them featuring other artists on a main album.
