I don't know why it took me so long to watch it, but I really dig the Came Back Haunted video. Starting to warm up to the song too.
A new song from the Fuji Rock Festival livestream. It's not my favorite. Copy of A was played too, I'm trying to find it. Edit: Audio recording of Copy of A is here. http://www.mediafire.com/play/t7hkzmj76167y2u/copyofa.mp3 Now that song I really like. The chords in that backing organish synth are great.
Definately shows that, as a singer, Trent lacks haha. Still, sounds good. Copy of A sounds pretty awesome. Looking forward to the album version.
I can already tell that I won't like the vocals from the new album. From the three songs we've heard, Trent was right in saying the vocals aren't going to be all the screaming and aggressiveness we were used to. The songs are pretty good though. I don't have any complaints.
A more (but still not quite) complete version of Copy of a. I reallyyyy like this song. Also an updated live version of their song Sanctified.
Sorry to double post but another new song "Disappointed" was played live. I love this one. Around the 9 minute mark of the video there is a korean fiddle solo, and it sounds really indian. A lot like something The Beatles would have done. I'm really into it. Edit: Disappointed starts around 5:40.
Haha yeah, these new songs definitely show that. Interested to hear the studio versions though. I like Copy of A and Disappointed a lot. Kind of lukewarm of Find My Way.
The dude has a great style, that's for sure. I always thought The Downward Spiral had some creepy ass artwork, and he's right back at it with this album. Love it.
Honestly I think the whole With Teeth tour really hurt his voice (when he just happened to bulk up). He can still hit all the notes in the studio and in one-off shows but listen to the same song 30 shows in and the endurance isn't there. He keeps away from some of the harsher screams and high notes to make sure he can at least try it later in the tour, rather than blowing out his voice at the start. For comparison: This is near the end of the With Teeth Tour (maybe 40 shows left) Last show of the LITS tour only two years later. So I wouldn't blame the bulk up.
His voice was never good and now he's old. Just going to keep getting worse. As long as he keeps being a boss in the studio and producing epic live shows I doubt people will mind. And he looks like an alpha male now. Totally different person than he used to be. Just a beast.

Sweet! Sounds awesome. Is it going to be released as a single? Amazon says that it will be available August 13th (and has some awesome art for it by the way). http://www.amazon.com/Copy-of-a/dp/...485&sr=8-2&keywords=copy+of+a+nine+inch+nails
