That's a good point. I was specifically thinking of the hype surrounding MTM before it was released. Fans thought that the album would sound like QWERTY but were either pleasantly or unpleasantly surprised when MTM finally released. I suppose hype can be whatever an individual makes it out to be in one form or another. I also hadn't considered the lack of information about LP6 at this point in time, so this should be kept in mind.

What if... and hear me out! What if, and I'm being totally serious about this, because 25 tracks is alot.. What if... 2 disc album!
It'll never happen. LP plays it way too conservatively to put out something that's almost universally considered a terrible idea in the music industry. Their LONGEST album is 47 minutes long, for crying out loud.
I don't want to rain on anyone's parade but, knowing how Linkin Park writes songs, I would highly doubt the 25 songs they've worked on (assuming it's all they have) will end up being final. They always let a LOT of material either unfinished, ending up as b-side material or on hold to work them out again in the future. I can't see Linkin Park writing a batch of songs without narrowing them down.
It's not always a bad idea, but most of the time, it is a bad idea. LP's music would need a huge step-up for it to be interesting enough to justify a 2-disc album. More often than not, there's a lot of crap to be found on a 2-disc album. Anyways, studio pics don't really excite me anymore. It's good to see that they're in the studio, but I'll get excited when I hear something I really like.
In my case, what excites me aren't the pictures themselves, but the fact that they have been really quiet these past couple of months, even away from social media. Which means they're probably 100% committed to the task. Mike and Phoenix generally tweet a lot, but lately they have been away from it a little bit. And, despite what's been said before in interviews, the less we know, the better, and pics are one way to keep in touch with what they're doing without having to really tell details about the album.
Sorry mate, this thread is for pics of Linkin Park in the studio, not general picture talk. Nice equipment though.
When you think about it, if you didn't go through the past 13 pages, it's a misleading title. I guess it still is in LP Chat, though.
