Like the new Broken Bells album, Linkin Park have achieved their goal of making organic music sound electronic in an effort to effortlessly perform live.
I want this so, so bad. I've always thought that having LP6 and The Mall Soundtrack released as a double album would be a brilliant idea. Living Things, Pt. 2 though? Please, NO.
That would be sweet as. I'd love to see like a big Band Doco about the making of Process but a more intimate less edited version, more open discussions, demos ect
I felt like ATS had a story (at least in my head) and there could most certainly be a part 2. I highly doubt it, as they are band that never looks back, just keeps pushing forward. I'd love to see a less layered album too, some songs just sound so busy. Stripped back would be rad.
I wouldn't say that. 2 parters usually aren't good, but there's exceptions. The band Dream Theater once made a gull album that was a sequel to one of their songs, and that album is regarded as their best work.
All these warm, cozy looking cloudy pictures make me wish of a light, Post-Rock Linkin Park album, but alas, that would never happen. Ever.
the small fact that linkin park has mysteriously updated their website is so much more exciting than the oscars. im glad they decided to do it on this night lol.
It's an album about the protagonist of FFVII, Cloud. Announced guest features include electronic duo Air, rap duo Atmosphere, and the lead singer of Breath Carolina.
'Action-pack' and 'recharged' in the post makes me wonder if it won't be the collab with Aoki and it ends up being the single for the new Transformers. Or just one of those.
I reckon thats the winner. Aoki song for Transformers. Which isn't bad, but give me an EP of new LP songs
It's hard to say what this could be. Summer is just around the corner, beginning their album promotion now would seem appropriate. I don't know why they would change their whole website for a Transformers song. Did they do something similar for New Divide?
