It's just my assumption giving the speculation of them touring together. If you refresh the page you can see part of the p but it looks like it's extending into a triangle and cut across in the middle which makes a p but also that's how 30 STM logo is. A triangle with a line through the middle. Fuses perfect with the LP logo
Remember when the preview for living things came out. The LP 2K12 vid. The song just turned out to be the intro song to all the LPTVs and not an actual song.. what if thats the case here. If anything its a raw song or just and unfinished demo. EDIT: not intro for LPTVs, i remembered it differently.
I really can't stand how the YouTube comments are equating the sound of the snippet to being "Old-LP." Heavy guitars DOESN'T equal Nu-Metal. It sounds nothing like the material form the first 2 albums.
Fairly certain the LP2K12 video had elements of Until It Breaks in there. That dirty periodic synth was in the first beat of the song.
To the people who think that the image on their website is both logos fused together: it's not. It's just the LP logo without the circle. If you refresh the page and look right as it refreshes (before all the clouds come in), you can tell it's just the LP logo. However, I wouldn't be surprised if the 30 Seconds To Mars logo comes in later. Not that it really matters lol. I'm waiting for a puzzle to pop up, although it doesn't look like we're getting one....
Please stop with the misleading links, to something that states it's fanmade. That and we've already proven through grabbing the raw image that it is NOT the LP logo and the 30STM logo fused. Just the LP logo without the circle.
My mistake, then. When you post something that you want to be seen as official news, it's perhaps best not to rely on fanmade material to promote it, which REALLY makes it's legitimacy dubious.
We haven't proven anything actually. All we see is what we believe. We won't know til it's completely revealed
It's like when the ArtistDirect (I think) youtube channel used that terrible fanmade ATS cover for at least a year after it came out.
Has Linkin Park EVER done something like this for something as simple as a tour announcement? Combined with "Action packed week", implying something much more immediate, AND the new music preview, I highly doubt this is related to anything tour-wise.
Let's think about this logically for a moment. There's a reason LP chose to put their logo on the left. Obviously something will appear on the right. Albums don't usually have logos, so maybe 30STM's logo? A collab album? Tour? Hmm.
