Yep! Im going to the Suns-Thunder game tonight (Im a Thunder fan) and by the time I get back, I will be able to download it! EDIT: Forgot my avy was a Thunder avy I definitely agree with this, it is stupid, but there is not much we can do about it. Its been that way ever since before ATS. With MtM it was to a less extent because it was just one album (and lots of old school fans I know still loved MtM) but now its just crazy. Not much we can do about it though, it will forever stay that way with this band, unfortunately. Other fans will always complain about how LP changed.
Does anyone think this Straonit thing is some sort of anagram for a clue or an album/song name? Only thing I can think of off the top of my head is "Into Star"
Just got my iTunes version and i must say... WOW...that's even more in your face haha the sounds in HQ are much more cohesive. You can notice the quality of production! Kudos to Mike
Very, very curious on what the rest of the album sounds like. In the Chester/mike interview they were talking about how it had to be "radio friendly" and how it introduces the album. I may sound stupid to say this but I hope there are louder songs? I want something like given up but in a new form
I feel like I must update this. Guilty All the Same #11 Ukraine #44 Russia #76 Sweden #94 Portugal #97 Poland #103 Finland #110 Brazil #111 Germany #114 New Zealand #145 Netherlands #190 United Kingdom #190 Italy #201 Australia #214 Denmark #227 Austria #238 India #283 Switzerland #296 Norway #335 Ireland (source) Song's barely even out yet. This is amazing.
I've bought singles on iTunes before, and when the album comes out, iTunes knows you purchased a song off the album and doesn't let you buy the same song again.
While it's great that the single will already be available for purchase soon, I am still disappointed that so much of the song was taken out of the "radio edit" version. I think trimming down the song this much is truly a disservice to the band and the song itself, as people who only hear the radio version won't know about the other elements the true version of the song has to offer. I suppose it just comes down to strict airing regulations for songs, though, so no one song can exceed a certain time limit I'm guessing.
I'll just wait for the album to come out before I buy the song. We may be friends, but we are enemies for tonight.
Not that it's a big deal, but I've noticed (since I'm constantly checking if I'm able to download it yet) that iTunes had it listed under the artist "LINKIN PARK and Rakim" and it's been updated to just "LINKIN PARK" with "(feat. Rakim)" added to the song name. Not a huge deal, but I just noticed it
Yeah, but given the 1st 10 second part which is partly muted.. it leaves an impression of being a demo in majority for the casual listeners.. I don't know if that was intentional for Mike..
I'm not sure if this was Mike's intention, but for me this was true: when the first part of the song was lower, I turned my speakers up. Then, the guitars came in and my face was like:
The first time I listened through Deftones' "Koi No Yokan", this happened to me when "Leathers" came on
YT people are annoying, aren't they? hahahaha LOL I was just shocked about his comment... Tone down the guitar?? LOL You can't understand people actually...
I agree with that fact that his voice has changed from back in the day but that's only natural I would think, especially with the vocals that linkin park requires. I believe they've addressed that his voice is changing and they probably record vocals the he would be able to perform live day in day our through out the tour.
