Seen that iTunes is not giving a chance. I remember that BURN IT DOWN had a giant cover on the main page right in release, but I don't see any GATS reference on iTunes homepage today.

If you're talking about US, songs like this aren't popular on the charts anymore

Looks like it has peaked on iTunes in the US
But Altnenative music has made a huge comeback in the last couple of years in mainstream, you think one of the biggest alternative rock bands out there would make a bigger impact on iTunes? Still think that this era is going to be huge but this is just odd to me

Yeah you gotta be like 30 Seconds To Mars and put out hits like Moves Like Jagger.

It'll suck if it doesn't go any higher than that. I remember BID was in the top 10 when it came out. And this song is exponentially better.

    Hahaha.
    I miss Xero 2.0.

Eh, calm down with the charts, the song has only been released and will for sure get higher ranking with times :)

And it's not like it is very important anyway. LP probably knows that this kind of song will not perform as well as something as BID, which was the perfect example of a radio song.

Guys a lot of casual fans still don't realize the thing's even out yet. Give it all of a week before freaking out that it's not tearing up the charts.

    This.

Burn it Down was known about for almost a month or longer before it's release.

Give it time. People are starting to take notice. :awesome:

Yeah, I ain't too worried. It's been less than a day since it became available on itunes. And also the sudden release of a single without any prior announcement is another reason.

Yes, but this is a lot heavier than songs that get radio play and chart on charts. The album as a whole will go #1. But when it comes to singles, this is not a type of song to make the top of the charts. Only way it might is because LP has so many fans.

It should probably be added to the homepage that the song's available on Google Play as well, since it's become pretty popular as well. #teamandroid

Quite a climb considering the track has only been out for nearly 2 days.

You actually expect a song of this nature to compete with the Katy Perry's, Macklemore's, and Lorde's of the world? I'm shocked that it even cracked the top 50. This is pretty much the most anti-pop single the band has ever released.

How this song performs on the U.S. Mainstream Rock/Hot Rock Songs charts is going to be FAR more relevant to judging its success.
