Kendrick Lamar is fine, but somehow, I can't imagine his flow and voice working with the sound LP seems to be going with this future album. Now, if we were talking about Living Things, that would be another story.
To be fair to Dave, he's also said he likes good songs from any band, and specifically said if Linkin Park did a song he liked he would outright admit it. Though as far as I know, he has yet to like any.
Would never happen, but I would kill for Cristina Scabbia to be on the new album.
Shit, if people still throw around the Eminem card, I will dive in and say Kelly Clarkson. (Talking about the impossible), dare I say it would sound awesome to hear a voice like hers with an LP instrumental. It's just about finding the right balance. And if I wanted to go to a parallel universe-level of impossible, I'd say Lauri Ylönen from The Rasmus, his talent is way underrated in my opinion. But anyway, I think we should pay attention to the bands and artists Mike names when he mentions what he "likes and is listening to at the moment", because who knows if he might've given them a phonecall or two.
I'd like to see Chris Cornell. Chester and Chris have done alternating vocals before, so it could work.
fellas....fellas.... come on............. It'd be SWEEEEEET if it was the chick from Halestorm teaming up with Chester in a song. Epic.As.Fuck.
Chris Cornell would be great. As for Fred Durst - NOPE. Jared Leto seems like the most possible option. I hope that it's not another rapper... I liked Rakim's parti in GOAT very much, but I want something different.
