Just finished watching the live stream of Coldplay's performance at the iTunes Festival. There, they debuted 2 new tracks, Always in My Head, and Another's Arms. While I want to wait for studio versions for final judgment, Another's Arms is by far my favorite. Also, Atlas is a GREAT track live! (Magic is just okay live, nothing special)

I think I'll wait for the album. I don't really wanna listen to too many songs and then have the record not feel fresh.

I don't like listening to the live performances when we don't have studio versions, so I won't overplay them.

They both sound Parachutes-y. Another's Arms was far better imo.

Watched that live show twice now, and I gotta say, I really love Coldplay's live performances. It's probably because of the energy and overall joy Chris brings to the shows.

Atlas sounded pretty awesome, the two new songs sounded amazing, too, but I do prefer Another's Arms. All of the songs sounded amazing, though.

I cannot wait for this new album!

So apparently Midnight was played as an encore for the iTunes Festival performance, something I didn't know, since I exited out of the live stream once Fix You was done. What a great performance.

Chris Martin is an absolute joy to watch perform.

Coldplay has 2 private concerts this week, one yesterday, one today. Both in LA. It looks like they're filming a live DVD with the entire album scheduled to drop around the release date of the album. They're most likely to perform the album again tonight. However, the whole crowd was searched and all their cameras/phones were taken, so the possibility of a leak is very small.

Apparently the stage is set up to seem like you are outside, although it's held in a really small venue. ''A Sky Full of Stars'' is the main theme of the projections behind the band.
