What do you think is coming with Transformers 4? It is pretty sure that LP is doing something for that movie. But what? New song from the album as a single to promote it? Or do you think it is Guilty All The Same? Maybe it is a song which is not on the new album like New Divide? Hard to say :/ What do you think?
If we look historically, the movie only feature rock artists. This means, if Steve Aoki is involved, he will be doing a track with another artist. Which, most likely, will be Linkin Park. If this is the case, we're either getting a new collab between the artists, or they will simply be using A Light That Never Comes. Either way, the track that are used in the movie won't be featured on Linkin Park's upcoming album (due to different styles). Just my thoughts!
At this point, we still don't know if Linkin Park are contributing any music for "Age Of Extinction" at all. If we don't get any kind of announcement by the end of April, then, it's pretty much assured that they're not involved with the film. If they do contribute a song, and it's the single used to promote the soundtrack album (as was the case with "New Divide" and "Iridescent"), chances are that it won't be anything from LP6 but rather something that goes in a more electronic direction. Otherwise, it's possible that the band could contribute an LP6 song or even something new and it won't serve as the main single/theme ... but I think that it's extremely unlikely. With Linkin Park, it should be lead single or nothing, because no-one listens to the other songs on a "Transformers" soundtrack album.
Based on the Title of the new record "The Hunting Party", that name suggests from a comic book from Transformers as what it says from the other thread, like it tells about story of dinobots or something... but we'll see about the band's contribution for Transformers: Age of Extinction....
So what you're essentially suggesting, however lightly, is that Linkin Park's sixth studio album, which they basically claim will save rock 'n' roll, is a "Transformers"-based concept album.
It seems vague for LP to return for the Transformers film... Imagine Dragons will handle the soundtrack and score for the upcoming film.. http://www.tfw2005.com/transformers-news/transformers-movie-just-movie-31/steve-jablonsky-working-with-imagine-dragons-for-the-soundtrack-of-transformers-4-age-of-extinction-179680/
This shit is getting confusing lol. If LP aren't involved in any way with Transformers, why did Chester respond the way he did when asked about it during the Nikki Sixx interview? He could have simply just said no instead of hinting at the possibility. I wish LP would just confirm whether or not they're involved so we can move on and stop wondering.
It's really confusing.. LOL I don't know how this will gonna work between Imagine Dragons & Transformers 4.
OMG EXACTLY - why can't EVERY band do a song for that one soundtrack if Imagine Dragons are doing it?!
It's simply possible a The Hunting Party single is going to be included on the TF4: Songs That Has Nothing To Do With the Movie collection, aka the soundtrack.
Transformers movies would be incomplete without LINKIN PARK... We need more LP songs for Transformers Movies
I could see Trans4mers not having a song with LP. After all, according to the movie's ad campaign, "The rules have changed."
