Ok, so, then what's Chideo's surprise. If they plan on releasing something tomorrow they never should have made an announcement today. Morons.

 

A douche more or less. He probably heard of the hype with the tracklisting for THP being released today, as well as the UIG single artwork being released, etc, and he trolled us all into thinking the iTunes pre-order would be tonight and we all believed it because we got a ton of news today. Douche IMO.

 

He was just guessing based on the tracklist reveal + iHeartRadio's thing and people on Twitter took it and ran. He even confirmed he isn't with iTunes in any way.

 

It will probably be a lame LPTV clip, I'm assuming. It could be the thing Mike filmed for Chideo at THP photoshoot..

 

The guy isn't specifically trolling Linkin Park fans. He consistently posts about iTunes updates and LP happened to come up. I don't think he's outright lying about the single/pre-order.

 

I still think it's coming very soon. Too many hints. Even if the twitter rumor was false, the song will still come very soon. No point in releasing the artwork for the song if they weren't planning on making a single soon.

 

They don't specify a day what-so-ever, but the average user that see's that would probably more than likely assume that it will come the day they tweet it... I was being generous assuming it would come tomorrow. The point is, they shouldn't have tweeted something that pre-maturely when heaven knows when they plan on giving it up. Whether it's a LPTV or a song or a picture or whatever.

 

I'm sure we'll have the song and pre-orders by Tuesday if not tomorrow.

Based on ATS & LT, the 2nd song from The Hunting Party should be released soon. Wretches and Kings was released one month after The Catalyst, and Lies Greed Misery was released one month eight days after Burn It Down. Obviously the band can change it up, but stay tuned.

I'm glad it isn't being released yet. I want to hear more about the making of GATS in better detail.

 

Yeah, I think it's about time to release something new now, let's hope!

 

Catalyst announced July 9th. It was released in full August 2nd.
