    Living Things was the best selling rock album of 2012 too, if I'm not mistaken. The bands sales are down dramatically, but they're still one of the biggest in the world right now.

    that actually reflects on the decrease number of physical copies being sold in the market due to digital downloading/streaming in iTunes & other sites.

    The sales include digital download (legal, like iTunes), BUT not the illegal download.
