What annoys me about UIG is that it sounds like it won't stand the test of time. Not much variety within the track, in opposite to GATS.

Could do with a different mix, but overall, I really dig the track. Even though it's pretty much something we've heard from LP before, I really like the structure of it.

Neither GATS or UIG are leaving me excited for THP, that's all I can say.

That's basically a music video with words on it,it's damn cool. However,I like this a LITTLE MORE than GATS,I like the epic atmospheres and the synth. 8.5/10 From me

    Feels a bit too safe.
The intro got me really excited and the verses sounded beautiful.
The vocals on this track is overall amazing!
But the way the chorus gets loud doesn't really do it for me and it got repetitive rather quick.
    So yeah GATS > UIG.
Some parts i love but other parts were average.
But I am sure this will get really popular cause it really has that "Pop rock radio" sound.
Sounds like a better version of the first half of LT if you ask me.

I loved the song. It's powerfull and that synth/guitar at 1:10 made me shit my pants. The vocals are insane!
Reminded me a bit of Numb, or meteora itself. Also, this song could fit well on Living Things. Nothing really new but is a nice way to loose another 3:40 minutes of your life.
    Better than GATS, for me

It's got nothing to do with being "soft" and everything to do with being clichéd, bland, uninteresting & made for radio. It's everything Mike has been railing against for the last few months.

    1. "Lost in the Echo"
    2. "In My Remains"
    3. "Burn It Down"
    4. "Lies Greed Misery"
    5. "I'll Be Gone"
    6. "Castle of Glass"
    7. "Victimized"
    8. "Roads Untraveled"
    9. "Skin to Bone"
    10. "Until It Breaks"
    11. "Tinfoil" (Instrumental)
    12. "Powerless"
    13. "Until it's Gone"

This song is the pop garbage they claimed to have avoided on this record. Sounds like something from Living Things. Not impressed.

As always with LP, it's a decent, catchy song, but given the context upon which the upcoming album has been sold to us so far, it doesn't really seem like anything new or exciting. The song would pretty much sit right at home on Living Things, which is confusing given that Chester said in the interview right afterwards that they "didn't want to write pop songs any more". It does sound more guitar driven, but it's largely drowned out by the synths and there's no stand out riff.

If I hadn't have heard Guilty All The Same before hearing this, I'd be thinking 'here we go again', because really, this is another 'wall of sound' synth and guitar layered song. Then again, maybe that's to be expected from the lead single. I don't dislike it, just not what I was expecting after GATS

I'm really enjoying the song. It's really good, completely different from GATS and that's what I wanted. This album will be very diverse it seems, and I'm more hyped than ever!!

The thing is that if you listen to this song expecting something like GATS, then you are bound to be disappointed. I believe that's the mistake EVERY listener will make and that would lead to more criticisms from those "old" LP fans.
I wasn't expecting something like GATS so I was happy with this.

This does sound extremely radio friendly and commercial. Also, I think the drumming on this track needed to be put more in front.
I'd give this a 8/10. It will grow A LOT more on me but initial reaction is a 7.5 or 8. I would have given GATS a 9.5 for the initial thoughts.

And you can literally take away the synths and have this song being driven by the guitars. The guitars are just being covered by the synths.

To be fair, this is described as the "softest" song from the 6 track sampler. And if this is the softest, then I think the album will be pretty damn good.

Every single song can't melt face on the record, you need some variety.

Also - WB most likely asked LP to write a song to promote the album on radio and this is what was born. LP usually finds a way to make a song that will commercially do well but still bring the spirit of what they are trying to do on that particular album.

It's not like the song is fucking terrible. I like it. I think everyone was just expecting head banging, guitar thrashing, blazing fast drums and screaming because of all the VISCERAL LOUD talk.

Lol, Meteora neckbeards are dead seriously mad in this topic. You didn't actually expect them to not release a radio friendly song, did you?
