Totally for both! He's pissing me off with his Hail Hydra shtick up until Skye is involved and then he's all kinds of conflicted. I feel this Skye focus will reveal something about her 0-8-4 status before the season ends. New sneak peek is on Facebook. Talbot is back with Maria Hill. - So every week there's a custom-made art, drawn by Marvel artists, that accompanies an episode. It's called the "Art of Level Seven" Here's the ones released so far: "Turn, Turn, Turn" by Mike Del Mundo "Providence" by Paolo Rivera "The Only Light in the Darkness" by Pascal Campion "Nothing Personal" by Stephanie Hans
I know. But they did the discretion thing with the door close and all - but, anyway, that's not a big deal and I was very happy with the ep on the whole.
Because Philsfan is lazy https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=683892025008982&set=vb.421182894613231 ---------- First 2 minutes of tomorrow's (4/29) episode: https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=685545191510332&saved&linkId=8091469 Man-Thing reference! Cobie Smulders is what SHIELD was missing, hands down. ---------- HOLY FUCKBALLS! 1) Coulson/Hill kicking ass was kickass. 2) WTF, COULSON? 3) Looks like that Ward turnaround is a comin' Also, I'm getting tired of editing my posts - people need to post more.
I loved the episode. I still want to know more about the alien though as well as Skye's 084ness. With only two episodes left I'm not sure if we're going to get those answers though.
I totally need to get caught up with the Marvel Universe movies. As rewarding as this series is, It is probably ten-fold to those who have seen Iron Man 3, Thor 2 and Captain America 2.
There really isn't much connection to IM3 or Thor 2 in the series. Without spoiling much I'll say that the only connection to IM3 is the bad guys in AOS using some of the bad guys from IM3's tech and the Thor 2 crossover episode had only the first 5 mins actually deal with the events of the movie. I highly recommend Cap 2 though, there is a lot of connection to that movie.
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! best. episode. ever. So does this mean Fury operated on Coulson against Coulson's will?
YES. Hill's reference to Man-Thing more or less confirms why Brandt's face was fucked up in Iron Man 3. I think Fury was desperate to keep Coulson alive, for whatever reason (most likely him being one of the few trustworthy people he knew), and just followed Coulson's directive in doing the procedure. Honestly, Coulson just seemed pissed about what happened, but I don't see any mental deterioration otherwise. And obviously Skye's 0-8-4 status did something to counteract the pain, and she didn't seem to undergo a teardown of her psychoses when Coulson told her.
I'm still waiting for Skye to turn into Ms. Marvel Fury might have been desperate to keep Coulson alive, but, man, what a dick. Coulson straight up tells Fury the program is dangerous and all of the side effects... and he does it to Coulson himself. I sense some major conflicts going forward in Season 2. Unless they wrap that all up in next week's season finale. Which wouldn't surprise me. Oh, and I wonder who's costume will end up being the worst: Deathlok or Cyborg in the new Superman vs Batman movie.
Love it, love it, love this goddamn show! Highlights from tonight: - "...I'm not a mind reader." - Garrett 15 years ago, lololol - Garrett = first Deathlok? Interesting...most of his history falls in line though - Expected that Fitz-Simmons climax - they've had such little growth throughout - Ward's such a bitch...it's great - Damn, Chloe Bennett is one fine ass bitch - Speaking of, are we gonna get that Skye-is-possibly-a-Kree reveal before Avengers 3 or...?
I loved the episode. It sucks with the season ending next week since we'll no longer have a weekly dose of MCU (especially since the show hasn't been confirmed for a second season either). I don't know what to make of Raina's story about Skye's origin. Hopefully we get answers for that next week and if she really is alien maybe they'll do some sort of Guardians of the Galaxy tie in with it (SHIELD does apparently have a presence in GOTG http://www.escapistmagazine.com/new...eal-S-H-I-E-L-D-Is-In-Guardians-of-The-Galaxy). I also hope Nick Fury's role in the finale is more than just a quick cameo.
ALL ABOARD THE HYPE TRAIN. Also I hope B.J. Britt's going to be upped to regular status if Trip survives the finale. I'm scared about the fates of Fitz and Simmons, since they're nowhere to be seen in promo pictures and videos.
I'm sure that's just to keep up the illusion that they died - they made sure to emphasize that Fitz had the quarter beacon in his hand, along with the EMP buzzer.
