So it just so happens that, by turtleguy's assessment, three of the more radio friendly songs on the album just happen to be the three songs that iTunes had track lengths up for earlier than the others. iTunes Countdown conspiracy continues! If they start on tuesday it would be one song a week for 3 weeks then the album is out. IT COULD HAPPEN I STILL BELIEVE.
So this means that "Until It's Gone" is the least aggressive/slowest song on the record? See, not bad at all!
Thanks so much turtleguy556! I've been dying for some impressions of the album and you did a great job describing the album as best as you could considering the circumstances. I (and I'm sure others) are very grateful for you to have taken time out of your evening to write this up! With that being said, I am sad that there are two instrumentals. The Summoning was obvious but I had hoped that Tom Morello would jam hard with the band. I guess anythings better than Tinfoil though haha. I am really fired up for Keys To The Kingdom now. After LITE let me down a little I am glad to hear that this opener starts the album off with a bang and totally hits hard! Also super pumped for A Line In The Sand! Ahh, who am I kidding I am super excited for the entire album!
Not so sure about that, all the track-lengths can now be seen on iTunes... https://itunes.apple.com/us/album/the-hunting-party/id873395041
Ohhh! One more question sir! Is there any double bass drumming or (super wishful thinking here) blast beats on the album? e.g. blastbeats: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jNL9ypFdAzI
That's why it's super wishful thinking. Maybe Rob decided to go full #visceral Haha no problem. Thanks again!
Too bad it was too loud but the same thing happens to me, The first time I listen to an album I'm like "what the fuck did I just hear?"
Well yeah, the album is less than a month away now. Three track lengths were up for weeks in advance which would imply iTunes had the files early.
What if... What IF.... One of these songs is premiered live tomorrow and then released through the countdown?
