I've been saying this for months. I like this new clip more than all three released songs from THP combined. Though, this does make me more excited for "A Line in the Sand." EDIT: to clarify, I am not saying that I think the clip is from "A Line in the Sand." Rather, I am saying that since multiple people have implied that Mike sings the entirety of "A Line in the Sand" this track gives a glimpse into what kind of thing we may expect.
Not sure why you guys are wondering if this is Mike or not. have you not heard "No Roads Left"? He sings the song in practically the same tone, not to mention providing backup vocals in a higher register like Breaking The Habit. This is definitely Mike, and I'm pretty sure it isn't modified. EDIT: This is NOT ALITS. Mall has its own soundtrack separate from The Hunting Party, you are all just getting hyped for nothing.
I hope that song isn't A Line in the Sand. That song sounds like something the Backstreet Boys would make. The singer sounds a bit like Nick Carter. It's too poppy for LP standards.
The trailer is literally in every fansite. To the point some are complaining who we credited in our post.
I'm fucking hyped as hell. The movie looks interesting. The effects that were in that bathroom scene where the form of a tiger starts glitching around him looks very cool. I would love to know what the story is about. But that song... Fuck, I love how simple it sounds compared to the layered songs on Living Things. Mike's vocals sound soulful as fuck and god damn. This might be one of his best performances with No Roads Left. Can't wait to hear the full OST and see the movie.
THIS!!!! Also i think Mikes vocal range has improved from MTM era until today and is more melodic in high notes!
I guess we all know that but it still fits the description we got plus Turtle talked about problems with the sound so this might be the reason we had no info regarding Mike singing "different". And we are not getting hyped for nothing, it doesn't matter with which album we might get this, it is most likely a song by LP.
It might be that turtleguy thinks that Mike is Chester in ALITS. He says "Chester sings hard in this song" but he is the only person out of all the reviews that mentions Chester in the song at all. It wouldn't be the first time, inexplicably I remember some people thought NRL and COG has Chester singing the verses...
I think it's worth mentioning that the description of the video describes it as "Mall - The Hunting Party." Maybe, The Hunting Party IS the Mall soundtrack. EDIT: I am wrong, but it's just a cool thought!
The only other site I know of that had people at the listening party is LPFanCorner and I've never heard of that site until last week I know nothing about that site. It's probably not ALITS but it fits the Bill of what TurtleGuy said. I just want some sort of conformation either way
Nope. If that were the case all the guests features of THP would be included in the credits of the OST, as well all the members of Linkin Park. We know this to not be the case, ergo we come to the conclusion that the two are completely separate entities.
This. He was the only one of out all the descriptions that said Chester was singing. I know it's not Chester but it could easily be mistaken as him.
Because nonsense. I don't see a big deal to complain about a source when we're citing the original YouTube link where the video came from. Anyway carry on the discussion.
