    As if more people haven't posted in this thread yet... I thought Wastelands sounded superb live. Thankfully I've only listened to the whole song once and the snippet only a handful of times so the full track should still feel pretty new. Can't wait!

    Since I heard it live, and seeing that the ACTUAL song is like 3:00, could it be that it has an intro to Until It's Gone?

    I THINK the album version has a few measures of the beat before the guitars kick in, while the live version kicks straight into the guitar part from the outro to Runaway.

    To me, the very first now of UIG sounds like the end of a crescendo. I wouldn't be surprised if wastelands had some sort of Intel thing but I know nothing

    I'm almost certain the UIG single is shortened. The intro starts really abruptly so my guess is that Wastelands ends with a lead out to UIG similar to Tinfoil/Powerless or Easier to Run/Faint for those nu metal fans :p
