I love love love the guitar work on MTG. Mike said after the listening that Brad would just come in the studio and loop the song and solo over it just for fun. He wasn't even trying to write one to record it. That tells you how fun the guitar is.
You realize that's the drums at the beginning of Until It's Gone, right? Play UIG right after Wastelands ;3
From the descriptions we have got so far, I think Mark The Grave and A Line In The Sand are shapping up to be songs that will please a lot of fans. We'll see!
KTTK, MTG, and ALITS. The intro again is just the BEST. Do yourself a favor and crank it up when you start KTTK.
Hearing Wastelands again I'm def feeling like I shouldn't listen to this song a lot. I feel like I could get tired of it really easy. Idk why that is. I really like it though!
Does ALITS have an uplifting, epic guitar progression like in Powerless? Or is it more of a dark sound?
I know, I was just kidding in all seriousness though my favorite part of the song is definitely how the weird electronics play into the guitars, especially at the beginning. It's so dirty.
Is he screaming the choruses + some extra screams or only the choruses? I want this Song to hit hard since wastelands had no scream so its only 3-5 Songs left with screaming
It has a progression of ATS intro, straight up rock song building up, huge bridge where the band just catches fire, to soft ATS close.
Hey, turtleguy, I don't know if this has been asked already, but was the song used in the trailer for "Mall" a snippet from A Line in the Sand, or was it a different song entirely? If you haven't seen it yet, here it is.
There will be 5-6 songs with screaming like I showed you in the other thread Source was TurtleGuy Only one song with Screaming so far, so now we have 4-5 more with it and thats out of 10 songs with vocals! There will be plenty screaming on this album He already confirmed it was something not on the album
