I was talking to everyone that posted in this thread about bad lyrics and i cant quote more than one on my phone, so I didnt quote anyone because i dont wanted to hurt a person. First Second, you can go back in this thread and see many people NOT talk about the Review, you can even see memes about that screaming thing which offended me. I have the damn right to defend myself I wasnt talking about Rebellions lyrics because this is a thread for the whole Album I got pissed because some people started complaining about the lyrics again Could you please stop always picking out people like me Who actually just want to say my Statement that i dont care about the lyrics and telling people to stop making fun of scream fans? You are extremely unfair and please stop saying things like "same fucking people" or "idiotic bullshit" because it might offend someone telling me i should pay respect to get respect is okay, but you can say what you want because youre an admin? I don't really wanna say now for the whole album as I really want to experience it in better conditions before coming to those conclusion but out of the 4 official releases I would say GATS. I don't think it's a bad song by any means at all though.
Right now it's Keys to the kingdom. I heard it pretty well and also multiple times so I got a good feel for it. Chester basically screams the whole song and it basically kicks QWERTY in the nuts in my opinion. I would kind of agree with Metal Hammer and say it's more of a Thousands Suns type song but honestly it does enough for it to stand on its own to be called a THP track.
What is All For Nothing like? People who heard the album don't talk about it much and it never gets much attention so I assume it's pretty forgettable?
so i guess this will be the third LP album that will have the Parental Advisory sticker, since there is swearing in All For Nothing!
I actually wanted to say forgettable but I'm actually thinking it's more of a song that grows on you. It has a catchy enough chorus which I was unfortunately not able to make out. I'm a bit hesitant to condemn a song from my experience as I have mentioned it wasn't a rue way you would want to experience the album.
I went back and read the whole thread and the first couple pages were people making statements about Mike's quality of lyrics in his rapping lately and then around the 4th or 5th page, someone posted a meme about people asking how many songs have screaming because there have literally been 100 (probably more) posts asking Derek what songs have screaming which has gotten to be a joke. Someone laughed at that and then you went off out of nowhere about how "ATS fanboys" are attacking you and the band and people are constantly bitching about lyrics when that was not the case in this thread whatsoever. Lyrics, just like instrumentation, is part of songwriting and it's allowed to be critiqued. It's probably not my place to get involved in this since an Admin has already discussed it with you but you're the one taking things out of context and creating problems where there are none. No one was attacking you until you brought the discussion on yourself by attacking a nameless group of fans and calling them "ATS fanboys". Seriously your first post about it came out of nowhere and practically begged people to respond to you.
