The last years i have the feeling that the band have no energy and not really fun live on stage. But with the THP cycle + tour it seems they have so much fun on stage now. The new set and the new stage are so fucking fresh. Mike and Chester have so much energy and fun. Watch the Rock am Ring show from yesterday and you will see what i mean. And with this tour every member of the band gets his 'time'. For example the Hip Hop medley from Mike, or the Joe Hahn solo, you know what i mean? What are your opinions?
I think they have always had fun on stage but that is just me. Obviously sometimes they seem to be having more fun than others.
I think it just seems that way cause the set is back to high energy set. I'm with the others in saying I think they've always had fun.
Well I can imagine doing something besides having half the band pressing buttons on stage does do wonders as far as the atmosphere of the show goes.
To me it seems like they actually are having more fun on stage lately. They are just smiling so much during their shows now, more then in previous years I feel. I just think that this new set is exciting for them and it shows.
They changed up more this cycle. The LT tour they added like... 3 songs. The Tinfoil intro was lifeless and didn't add much whereas they work The Catalyst/Requiem throughout the entirety of the show transitions. The Mike/Joe solos give them their time. They've included short versions of tracks such as Blackout and Runaway so they can include elements of that. It just feels like they actually give a shit this time around.
