KTTK was GREAT!!!! And on the first listen, I'm not a fan of AFN. Not my favorite type of rock. hopefully it will grow on me...
im bursting with excitement while listening to this record, a fuck Heavy Metal album the I've been waiting for LP to make for a loong time, again....thanks LP!
ALITS is probably the best album finisher from LP. Heck, A Line In The Sand and The Final Masquerade are among the best LP songs of all time, IMO. Mark The Graves approach makes it seem like a song from ATS. Chester sounds a little weird in War, to be honest. I still like the punk vibe from the song. My ears hurt but I don't wanna stop listening. I still can't remember what the songs sound like even after listening 3 times.
Just started streaming and wow, the first two tracks... Amazing. First is classic LP.. So happy to hear Chester scream like that again. All For Nothing reminds me The Offspring. SO GOOD wow.
same just previewed. Sounds muchhhhhh better than that 192kbps so even if its not completely legit it sounds way better. I do believe it is legit though
War is a pretty wicked track, but me being a guy that doesn't like punkrock that much, not sure if I like this track or not. The guitar work is pretty solid, though.
Awesome: Final Masquerade Rebellion Good: Wastelands Guilty All The Same Keys To The Kingdom All For Nothing Meh: Drawbar (totally unnecessary, and wasted opportunity from Tom Morello) The Summoning A Line In The Sand Bad: War (I'm not into the whole punk stuff, and this song sounds two dimensional and I don't feel the aggression at all) Mark The Graves (that's right! I seriously don't understand what everybody sees in this song) Until It's Gone (beside the fact that it's this album's WID shit, it's also very boring) 6.5/10
Damn it I should have known. The 320 is the iTunes stream rip. So its edited and not real 320kbps. Fuck it though I'm gonna keep it and listen to the album finally and I'll get a better one when its actually available or I get my album in the mail. Whatever comes first
War is really a "love it or hate it" track! I absolutely love it personnaly. I've waited forever for a song that abrasive from LP. And the punk rock'n'roll attitude just makes it so badass, and even a little bit amusing I think
