Kind of familiar vibe to the True Detective intro with the images through the faces, very good work by Mr. Hahn. Haven't enjoyed a video that much since Waiting for the End.
I'm surprised it took this long for someone to mention that. A bit of a rip-off really, but if it looks nice it looks nice I guess.
Unconnected? You can see an old man on a deathbed, as well as images of past relationships, etc. "You don't know what you've got until it's gone." Relevant. Also How dope would it have been if KTTK was a single with a music video?
Their best video. The shots of the band are wonderful. Definitely looks like a young band just living for their music.
I really like the video. (I guess it's because I much prefer videos with the band actually performing)
So good to see a music video that doesn't use ungodly amounts of slo-mo! This video actually makes the song a tad more tolerable. I'm disappointed that this is to be the song that gets publicity. I'm seeing people comment on how LP is gone so soft and mellow. It's frustrating to know that THP is heavy but the casual listeners will not get to know that, they'll only see UIG and roll their eyes. Whoever decides the band's singles really needs to rethink. The masses obviously want to hear heavier LP, yet the softest songs always make it as singles. I don't get it.
Yay a proper music video!!! Finally!! Yay! I really enjoyed this video. Love the effects, love the colours, love Chester's mannerisms, I thought all of the effects, were a little confusing at first, but I adjusted quickly. I have no criticism. However I agree with Bane above, why is UIG the single that gets the publicity? Out of all the songs I've heard from the album, Until it's Gone is not the one I feel best represents the feel they are going for.
The video actually made me feel like a rock band was in it, with Mike banging his head and the camera shaking, haven't gotten that vibe from them in a while
Hell yeah, the way Mike and the other guys moves and the camera shakes is what makes this video SO good.
2nd page I'm sure a lot of people have seen the similarities, it looks too much like that to not see it. I wouldn't necessarily call it a rip-off... but yeah
True Detective Intro + Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit = UIG music video On another note, I wish the band were so energetic live as in this video.
I feel like I'm back into the cycle like I was for ATS . The band is really in top form this time around. Great video, love it.
