When I went to BestBuy to pick up my copy they didn't even have the Lana Del Ray album in the New Release section, but they had LP.
Living Things was gold because it appealed to casual listeners, and they had a massive hit with "Burn It Down". THP has neither a Top 40 single nor mainstream appeal. Living Things beat Maroon 5's Overexposed even though the latter album had "One More Night" and "Payphone" out. Minutes to Midnight was the last LP album to be certified Platinum. I doubt THP can even be close to 600K US copies.
So far i see the reactions here in Germany, the album will atleast be gold. SO many people who like the new stuff who "hated" the last 2-3 Albums.
I was there right when they opened, so either they didn't stock her stuff yet, or they didn't stock it in the new releases.
Well i would say they didnt stocked up... haappendd to me to the release day of LT, i was there when the store opened, but cant find LT there.
#3 in U.S isn't bad....They're still #1 in so many countries. If they sell more copies in the long run or get awards for the record, now that would be awesome.
That's alright. ATS didn't debut at number 1 in 2010 in the UK. So this would be their 2nd number 2 debut.
I heard some song on lana's album and i swear they sound the same and they all sound boring so much why the hell does anyone like her stuff
