The best album outro track?

So after coming to the conclusion that A Line In The Sand was an absolutely kickass way to close out THP, my question to you all is which of the 6 studio albums had the best outro track and why?

I always would go with TLTGYA from MTM but ALITS has swayed my opinion

 

i love every album closer from LP. TLTGYA is my fav LP song ever. so it got my vote.

all the other's are great too. i still dont like ALITS as much as i'd like to, it is a great song, but the victimized/GATS thing annoy me, chester's vocals also dont sound good to me

 

i'd say ALITS but fuck your heavy shit

 

Man, that's a very hard question to answer.

I went with TLTGYA, then I have Powerless, then The Messenger. LP has always had amazing album closers.

 

ALITS followed by The Messenger and Numb

 

Is it which song is the best, or which song works best as a closer? Numb is my fav track, but I think the ending sounds of Powerless have the coolest "end-of-album" feeling.

 

ALITS. By a miles.

Though TLTGYA is great too. But ALITS is basically my dream LP song, so yeah...

Powerless works best as the album closer. That songs pretty much says THE END with its last few notes. Also I love the song for LP tackling an issue lyrically that they haven't actually done before.

...man this just make me really sad for the all progression we've seen with the lyrics in ATS and LT only to then hear "Give me back what's mine!!!"

 

I had to vote PMA because to this day it's my favorite LP song.

You're overrated.

 

I voted TLTGYA. You know, it finished the album. But when you hear PMA or ALITS you feel like you're waiting for another track to be played. Numb was cool but I think The Messenger and Powerless weren't as good as the other ones.

Alright this may sound confusing, but I felt like ALITS needed more time closing the song up. Like it had the heavy then it went to mikes vocals again then it just ended. I expected mikes vocals then some sound effect of the storm ending and springtime opens up.

Anyways, ALITS gets my vote. The opening of ALITS just gives me chills.

For me it is TLTGYA. That song is just such an amazing track and closes out MTM nicely.

 

Powerless fucking sucks man xD(Okay it doesn't suck. The lyrics were good the music was just really boring. Nothing interesting happens after the first few minutes.)

Pushing Me away and Numb are basically the same songs

TLTGYA is probably my favorite song from the band but ATLITS is pretty great too.

The messenger... Meeh. It was a nice ending but not really a song I come back to that often.

 

"The Little Things Give You Away" is yet to be beaten.
