“The Hunting Party” will help longtime fans forget the misstep the band took with their 2010 release “A Thousand Suns” which had Linkin Park experimenting heavily with Electronic influences which only resulted in alienating a huge bulk of their loyal fans in the process.

Some had wondered if we would ever see again the Linkin Park that we were first exposed to in the year 2000 in one form or another?

Now, that question can be laid to rest. I was blown away when I got to hear a few of the tracks taken from their outstanding latest effort “The Hunting Party.” It has everything that you would expect from the Linkin Park of the yesteryear, and even more that you had thought you would never hear the band sound like.

Almost everything is here. You've got the aggression back in Bennington’s voice. You've got the smooth lyrical flow of Mike Shinoda rap verses. And you’ve got the band finally sounding like a real and full band again.

Not some EDM act.

Calling A Thousand Suns a misstep for the band is laughable & ATS as an EDM? .. I can't blame him, it's his opinion but comparing THP to HT & Meteora? Hell No! THP is much more different from those two.

The bracket part isn't needed since movies don't have launch trailers and the movie and game go by a different name.

Paragon Pictures have acquired the distribution rights to "Mall" for its North American release.

Also turns out a French reviewer has given the film a 5.75/10, lol.

Nothing, absolutely nothing works in A Day to Kill . Mounting attempts to give a cruising speed passing from one character to another, but only supports the emptiness of the story - characters that intersect when a young lit opens fire in a mall - and highlights the absurdity of dialogues and philosophy counter. Remains rather convincing game of the young Cameron Monaghan, the only survivor of the wreck, which brings an ounce of emotion in everything bastringue that hurts the eyes. Specify the Linkin Park fans that the band also wrote the music for the film. But A Day to Kill remains reserved for a brave experiment.

Aoki is in the lab. He’s downstairs at WM Studios — a Las Vegas studio just 20 minutes from the Strip, and a short drive from his home. Aoki plays a song with the (as yet unconfirmed) title “Horizons,” a collaboration with Linkin Park for his upcoming album. It has been a work in progress since 2012, which he admits is obsessive even for him. He pulls up the original mix on his laptop and plays it over the house speakers. They might as well be different songs.

“I threw out the drop because it didn’t fit,” he says. “And [Linkin Park rapper] Mike [Shinoda] rewrote the lyrics because he was like, ‘They’re too happy.’ He wanted to make it darker.”

Asked if the two versions have anything in common, Aoki thinks for a moment and then says, “They’re both in the same key.”
