One of the better Linkin Park videos as of recent. That being said, I was expecting a lot more from Mark Pellington. Fuck, this was the guy who made the extended video for Everything Changes where they interview people who have lost their loved ones, and the guy who made Best of You, one of the greatest music videos of all time AND he said this was his favorite video he's done SINCE Best of You. The imagery and stuff was cool, albeit it seemed a little archaic and random, but the quick cuts ruined the flow and stopped me from feeling any connection with the song/images or the images/meaning. EDIT: JESUS and I forgot this was the guy who also did Pearl Jam's "Jeremy." This video pales in comparison.
Pellington referred to the video as a collage with lots of underlying ideas... Illuminati related things one of them.

Probably their best video since the MTM cycle. LOVE the style and colors and angles, even though the change of pictures is a little to fast in my opinion. Still, awesome video!!!
I heavily agree. As an film editor, that was extremely cut and chopped into pieces. Way too many filters as well. It kinda takes away from the videos beautiful and surreal set pieces, it could've featured less cutting. Otherwise, best video I've seen in a long time from them. They need to have other video directors work on their videos, it's benefiting them this time around.
Well, I'd say it's definitely the highest quality video they've put out since the A Thousand Suns cycle. The cuts were a little on the quick side for my taste, and some of the angelic imagery wasn't exactly inspired; regardless, I really like it. The color palette, the actual on-screen content, and the camerawork itself is all top-notch stuff. This is the first release in ages I've wanted to share with my more judgmental non-LP friends.
There are a lot of interesting things in this video like this guys dress in white,lead by the all seeing eye,that are going down (hell).Be aware of the shapeshifter in the final masquerade,the end is near,repent,interesting messages and we all know that in a video,nothing is random.
