Yeah, this album isn't as raw as I thought. There are SO many effects. Rebellion's bridge has a kind of distortion effect on Chester's voice to make his screams sound more aggressive.
God you can really hear Chester struggling a bit with the KTTK acapella, it feels like he's really straining his voice at the end, unless it was all intentional for those vocals to sound imperfect in that way.
Apparently Chester's vocal on KTTK was a one-take improvisation, didn't even have lyrics written down beforehand. That's just what came out.
Was that Daron singing at the end of Rebellion? Edit: And also I think I heard more than one voice while Chester was shouting on the chorus of AFN.
Everyone talking about the Acapellas and I've only listened to the instrumentals Should check 'em out soon then.
I just finished a mashup with Mark The Graves and Blackout. It's not perfect, but to me it sounds pretty damn good. Check it out and tell me what you think. http://yourlisten.com/ryfo/mark-the-graves-blackout I also made a version without Chester's vocals from Blackout, but I liked this one better.
Not sure. The doubled vocals in the verses are Chester and Mike, but it might be Chester on both parts in the chorus.
Does anyone knows what's the source of the 320kbps version circulating on the internet? The acapella from Mark the Graves has a cut at the end. I'm wondering if it is the Amazon version and if the iTunes version has it too.
Thanks. Immediately after posting it, I made a few changes in Garageband. Specifically, I moved one of the verses to another spot where I felt it fit better, but I had already made the post so I didn't upload it.
