Joe Hahn will partake in a LPU chat at 7:30pm PDT. Join him as he is sure to talk about The Carnivores Tour and his debut movie The Mall. To be able to join in on this and other LPU chats, you need to be a member of the LPUnderground, which you can become at LPUnderground.com From the Linkin Park Twitter account: What do you think Joe will talk about? Will he reveal some unknown stuff about The Mall or Linkin Park? Come and discuss in our forums. Source: Linkin Park Twitter and LPU Newsletter via Filip and MKH
If someone could ask if he's willing to create that Asian acoustic duo that does Tom Petty covers (with lead single Free Ballin') that was discussed at the Houston LPU Summit, that'd be great.
Someone needs to ask: What was his contribution to THP since there are clearly less electronic elements on it than on previous albums. If they will do any more collabs on the tour before the end, specifically with Mars or AFI If they will break out any older songs for the tour (that seems pointless to ask at this point though) If any of the songs from Mall will ever be incorporated live His thoughts for the future of LP after this point
I don't even remember when was the last time we had an LPU chat with a band member. On top of that, they pick Joe... so I guess it's gonna be 20 minutes of one word answers. Anyway, I hope we can at least get something else regarding the Mall soundtrack.
Managed to find a chat summary on mikeshinoda clan. Here is the link http://mikeshinodaclan.com/2014/09/joe-hahn-lpu-chat-summary-091814/
I still find it a miracle we got whole paragraphs out of him for our interview back in 2007. Joe's infamously a quiet dude .
Well the two main points I got out of this was 1. Possibility of the making of the hunting party. (Said maybe) 2. Said a second US tour will be after the Europe tour.
Not sure if mid-winter tour or basic Joe smartass comment... I figured they'd go over to Asia and Australia before hitting the 'States again.
Hopefully that pushes them to have a September 2016 release for LP7. I think they'll have more promotional opportunities in September, kinda like how it helped ATS.
