I'm really excited for this album, Foo Fighters are one of my favourite bands and I thought Wasting Light was a amazing album.
There is a Punk parade in my town tonight (ironically, only a few of the bands I saw were punk) and one of the bands playing was an awesome Foo Fighters tribute group. Their name? Kung Foo Fighters.
Can't listen to it right now. Class is about to start.
I'm not sure I want to listen to it, but that's because my headphones and speakers are broken. Now I have only shitty pairs of both and am hesitant to listen to any new music for the first time.
This song is actualy not that awesome but still good, Guilty All The Same has had much effect on me at first listening like GATS is really amazing
I'm getting huge ESPG vibes from the new song, and I'm 100% okay with that. Also, that slap bass was fun as fuck.
Holy shit, the way the song kept bulding was awesome! It sounds waaaaaaaaay to much like Holy Diver though. Hopefully that was intentional.
So apparently the Holy Diver riff off (do you see what I did there?! ) is kind of a big deal. I'm still way too underwhelmed to give a shit. I guess the end when it finally picks up it alright. Nothing special.
The first episode of Sonic Highways aired yesterday. And holy shit does it put perspective on the lyrics to the song. Virtually every line has some significance to the history of the Chicago music scene.
