Eh, I prefer The Hunting Party to this track, and I'm kind of glad it didn't make it's way onto that album. It just doesn't feel as perfected as that album was, and it's sort of repetitive in spots. Chester's screaming is pretty awesome, and I do like the instrumentation, but I'd likely skip this track if it was on THP. Not terrible, but not their best either. Probably about a C for me.
HOLY FUCKING SHIT. FREEEEEEE. EDIT: After hearing it, I'm not as impressed as I thought I'd be (probably because I spoiled myself) either way, its a decent track that I'll be rocking for a while and can hold me off for new music to come. Tho, I don't like Chester in the bridge. Sounds like a barking dog......
Eh, not a fan. This is much better:
The lyrics can be seen in one of THP videos. Are the drums electronic or what? They sound pretty real to me but none of those people are drummers lol. This song sounds a bit unfinished, but I guess it's because it's for a score rather than album. Definitely would stick out on THP as being really plain, but also pretty different in terms of vocal sound and stuff. The guitar reminds me of war.
I agree with Derek, it feels weird for me and too simple. Not bad for people that love Chester's screams and heavy guitar.
But it wasn't made during THP sessions.... If it was already announced, don't you think it would be in the original post?
When was it made then? Btw, anyone know if this is confirmed as a single? the artwork given with the music is titled whitenoise_esingle.jpeg
That widget. I haven't downloaded something LP-related with that widget since the 2011 North American Tour EP (with Numb & WFTCM live, "Omen" by Prodigy, "Watercolour" by Pendulum and some song by DIOYY?)
