It's mentioned several times that this is CB/DF/JH/MS. I don't think Alec Puro had anything to do with this. Probably Mike on a computer.
I love the guitar riff, the creepy electronic loop, and Chester screams. But, on the other side, song is really repetitive. So was the other full track we have.
DUDE. NEW FREE LINKIN PARK MUSIC. AND IT'S FREAKING AWESOME. I definitely do see why people wouldn't like it. I personally loved it; it fits within the context of the movie (or more like the opening credits, I haven't seen the movie yet lol) and the guys did it again: I did NOT expect LP to go NIN like this, but here we are! Also, that bridge is tops. Just a fun, fast, aggressive soundtrack song.
Impressive song. I love that loop. I wonder though, why they don't just put Linkin Park rather than that list.
Great song, I wasn't expecting for that bridge. Very Industrial-ish Just a question: what word, if is a word, Chester screams after the lines in the bridge? Seems something like "fight", but I don't know... Throw it all away, all away, ??? Throw it all away, all away, all away, ???
The mixing on this track seems fine. Listening to the WAV, on great headphones, can really hear everything clearly. Who mixed this?
Mike mixed it. And even though the songs slightly boring, I have the intro chimes and chorus stuck in my head
Holy ballz at the size of the download/file. Anyways I agree that it's not the greatest song ever but that bridge and the chimes have been stuck in my head all day. And I had no idea there was more to the song than what we'd already heard in the opening credits and that leak from months ago.
Eh, LP haven't been too good lately, even though Rebellion, Final Masquerade and Mark The Graves are brilliant songs.
I couldn't disagree more. 2014 has totally confirmed that LP is on the very top of my list and that they will stay there for a while. This soundtrack has potential to be amazing.
When put in iTunes, the download of White Noise has Alec Puro listed as part of the artist name. Stupid!
Not better than most of THP but still a great track. I feel like LP should make an album in this style - industrial rock - NIN-ish. Also - Free music is awesome.
It's actually a pretty great song, in context (but to each their own). People seem to be under the impression that this should have studio-worthy instrumentation and lyrics, when really it looks like Joe just intended to use it as a heavy/punky-sounding motif for the mall shooter character. It's simple, and effective. And best of all, it's catchy. I wasn't expecting any more or any less from this soundtrack, and I'm very much looking forward to the HQ release of the other tracks. Indeed.
So, yes? This is part of The Hunting Party sessions or not? And if not, what session is it from and what proof is there? I'm curious.
As a person who pretty much hates The Hunting Party (Aside from like 4 tracks) , I loved this. Chester's voice is awesome. This OST has definitely been more up my alley than THP. Has the full version of Warm Spell been released? (I think that's the right title, the one with Mike singing "It goes through")
