It's fucking fantastic. Not just Keanu's acting, but the entire film is well-crafted. If not a proper John Wick sequel, they could very easily revisit the world of John Wick with what is established in that movie.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles - 0.5 out of 5

Paper thin and lacking any kind of motivation for actions performed by either side, on top of Megan Fox hitting an all-time low in her acting abilities, this is another case of Hollywood tarnishing the good name of an amazing childhood memory.

    The Dirties (2013) - 4/5

Probably one of the better hand-held films I've seen in a while. It felt very fresh and the take on bullying they took in the film was very unique/meta.

    Life Itself (2014) (Documentary) - 4/5

Great doc chronicling the life of the late Roger Ebert.

    The Babadook (2014) - 4/5

Very creepy in places, especially the slower unsettling moments. I wish the whole movie was like that, but instead they ramped it up in the third act which was unnecessary. They resorted to the same thing with Oculus and I didn't like it in that movie either.

If it wasn't the Extended Edition Trilogy, it doesn't count.

    District 9 - 4.75/5

What a fantastic film. The SFX on the budget it had were fantastic, and the things it had to say without necessarily being preachy were well done. I could elaborate more, but nah. Great film.

    Interstellar - ? / 5

The jury is out on this one. I need to see this again to make up my mind fully on this one. This would be Nolan's best film, had it not been for the last 15 minutes or so. The ending is a bit convoluted, and lacks emotional pay-off, after the two and a half hours of stellar (pun non-intended) build up. Despite this, it is one of the best movies of the year, and high up in Nolan's filmography. It just doesn't quite reach the heights that Inception and The Dark Knight have.

I thought it was brilliant. By far one of the best sci-fis of the past decade, maybe two.

    ^ true dat.

also, Interstellar was amazing. Probably my favorite movie of the year.
Few flaws (time + space stuff = love, WTF), and I didn't get the fifth dimension time travel part, but a great movie.
