I finished Steins;Gate. I can't help but be disappointed now, everything I watch will just pale in comparison. Man, this should have been the last anime I've ever watched. I thought Death Note was my favorite, but Steins;Gate has tied it. Now Funi just needs to hurry up and dub the movie already.
I don't know about *hate* for Clannad. I watched the original and After Story, to which I reacted with an overwhelming "meh." BTW guys check the post in my sig - it's about anime, especially Space Dandy.
Started Death Note. Was really enjoying up to a point. Not sure I like where it's going though. We'll see, I watch it through.
Ah, only about 14 episodes left then, yeah just watch through it then. Although, imo, it kind of gets....worse in some spots from then on, still pretty good though. One of my favorites, but if you don't like how it is now then you might like it even less when you reach the later episodes. It does pick up towards the end though, I can say that.
Hopefully for the better, I was really into it about half way through. I don't know why, but it's like they kind of wiped the show clean of the whole first half of it. The two main characters don't even feel like the same people.
Let me know how you feel about the ending. If you're like everyone else, chances are you'll probably hate it Yeah, on second thought I personally didn't like it. Maybe because I just didn't like most of the characters by that point. The first half of the show is one of my favorites in an anime, I just can't get into the second half like the first. I don't think the second half is bad, but it was just disappointing. The show should have ended a lot sooner, but things dragged on way too much. There were some cool moments in it though.
Well I just got to the big twist and was happy to see those two characters return to what they were before, but then my Netflix crapped out. So I don't hate anything yet but we'll see.
Deathnote: Strong start, weak middle, strong end. The countdown at the end, legitimately had my heart racing.
That about sums it up! Yeah, the ending definitely made up for the middle of the anime. Those last few episodes and especially the last were really intense. Kind of wish there was an alternate ending, but I think it ended right I guess. It had to end like that.
People, watch Shirobako! It's one of the most unique anime out there! It's basically a documentary anime comedy about the struggles and hardships that go into anime production, that also offers criticisms into the world and explains some drama and backstories that affect the genre. Like, things that happened with Girls Panzer... It's a serious show, that goes into REAL territory. Is great and refreshing.
Interesting, I'll check that out. I passed it by before because I thought it was just going to be more of the same.
I have a questions, where are you looking all this animes? I wanted to continue with One Piece (yes, i am serious) after my exams, so i need a good site to look it.
