I don't dislike Until It Breaks... when did I say that? I remember one saying that the rap in UIB was slow, but I never said I hated it.
In Tocaraca's defence, he has come out with a host of incredible statements, but the dislike of UIB wasn't one of them
At first I really didn't care about I'LL BE GONE when listening to LIVING THINGS. In fact I often skipped it (don't hurt me please). But now I'm feeling like this is one of the best songs from the album. I really don't care about Primo, and just like Rivendare said : PS: Looking forward to CASTLE OF GLASS ! Thanks a lot, Faint Into Pieces, for these beautiful posts !
My pleasure! Although they're a lot of work, it's been a nice way to brush up on my writing skills! Working on COG right now should be up tomorrow at the latest
Could not care less about I'll Be Gone. Such a boring, cookie-cutter song. I also find the chorus melody to be one of their least enjoyable. Primo is far superior in nearly every way to me.
Yeah. There was somebody who said they regarded "Breaks" as the worst song Linkin Park had ever produced ... but, eh. Whatever.
Not that I want to join the hate bandwagon, but yeah.... I also rank I'll be gone as one of my least favorite LP song. Boring. On the other side, Primo is a great track, and I also enjoy both remix on Recharged.
I'll be gone is probably my favorite song from Living Things but I can see why other people don't like it. Your doing a great job writing these posts Faint into Pieces!

I really like "I'LL BE GONE", actually. I can't say "Primo" is better as it is unfinished, but I think they could have ended up with a better song if they went down a more creative path as they were finishing it off.
Sometimes when I listen IBG, I wonder why the song wasn't used as the first single. I think it may just be the catchiest song off the whole album and my personal favorite from LT, but at the same time, has the lyrical vibe and musical display from their Minutes To Midnight days. Its a very nice throwback with a wonderful delivery from Chester. I do admit that sometimes I wish the strings were a bit more prominent, but honestly, all you need is a decent set of headphones and you can hear them. Not sure why so many people complained about the mix. Do some of you listen to your music with a potato? EDIT: While I'm at it, IBG>Primo, all the fucking way.
