I ran into Lorenzo at SXSW and asked him about Fort Minor, and he made a funny speechless face and laughed lol.
What I want to know is when did he actually start working on this project (if it's happening), and what inspired him after all this time to finally revive the project. I mean for years it was all about diverting his "Fort Minor energy to Linkin Park", and then later he said that Fort Minor would return "when it's time". It seemed like he was deliberately avoiding doing anything Fort Minor related for so long, and now suddenly it seems to be back. I wonder what made him decide it was time. Guess it's time for an AltWire interview .

Well, the Linkin Park YouTube channel uploaded their entire discography for the $$$. Same thing was recently done by Coldplay, Slipknot and so on... The Fort Minor channel is making some fairly obscure videos public again. If anything, it's the first sign of activity on any of the Fort Minor social media profiles since the blackouts.

For the $$$ is a bit cynical. It makes sense to have everything available from an official source if fans are gonna upload them anyway.
To be fair though, shouldn't the content creators have the right to upload their own created works, even if it is for the $$$? At least LP haven't signed on to the idea behind the pointless and overpriced Tidal...yet.
