Solid verses and I love that drop. Only thing that is bothering me is the fact that we have yet to hear Chester's leading vocals. I'm not scared that they won't be there, I'm just disappointed because I'm pretty sure they will be included only in the final chorus or something along those lines. I agree that without Chester's leading vocals, the chorus does sound rather dull. Our best hope is that they decide to release multitracks and we can edit the songs ourselves, but that may not be the case because Aoki has control of Darker Than Blood, unlike A Light That Never Comes. Maybe wrong, but... At least people had an excuse with something like "New Divide", despite the band's insistences, lol. You're completely right. This is an Aoki song started at the same time as ALTNC. I would really hesitate to blame the direction on LP.

I'm pretty sure the chorus gets better as the song builds. The song is over 5 min and EDM is all about building it up.
Exactly what I think. The band's really just there to help Steve, a long-time fan, with his music; this is why I completely just slam my head on a table whenever people comment "LINKIN PARK IS GOING FULL EDM, HATE IT, GO BACK TO..." and so and so.
