Show was solid. I finally got to hear From The Inside live! I was wishing for APFMH too though (still have yet to hear it), we were all chanting for one more song at the end and I was crossing my fingers they would come back out and blow us away with it but that didn't happen. I feel like they may have if it weren't for Brad's tech playing for him, because Chester told us we were one of the craziest crowds he's ever seen and I believe it because we really were going insane (even though they didn't really interact with us too much, especially Mike). For example, earlier in the day, I shit you not, a girl in a fucking wheelchair with one leg crowd surfed! Unfortunately she fell out. I saw her later and she looked pretty miserable :(

Anyways, DTB was kind of a letdown once I realized it was just an intro for BID. And they played way too many softer songs in a row mid-set.

Other than that, everything was great. The band brought the energy (though I did miss Brad) and Chester was very solid. LP still kills it on stage.

    Oh, that's why. Thank you.
Well, that's really cool. I didn't thought they would drop that song!

Edit: Do you guys know, how they actually performed that one? Is the instrumental minus the drums just playback, or did Hahn take up Aoki's work. I don't really know how that's supposed to work. :D I mean, when Aoki performs the song, I guess most things are also just playback (or even everything, so he just made the transitions between the drops from the other songs?) I don't know how such things are being handled live.

I imagine that "Darker Than Blood" involves Shinoda handling most of the chords, Hahn triggering the odd sample, sampled drums on playback with Bourdon's live drums on top, Phoenix playing the basslines on guitar or ZTar and Delson playing either the lead part on keyboard, or adding guitar to thicken the texture during the drop. Most of the synths, including the main arp, are probably on playback along with the drums.

Aoki performs as a DJ, so his work as a live performer involves launching tracks and keeping them in time with one another, and using crossfades and effects (primarily filters and delays) to create transitions. And, then, hyping the crowd up by yelling during the build-ups.

Everyone's ignoring that BREAKING THE HABIT IS BACK EVERYONE

    +1 for Rebellion
    -1 for GATS
    -1 for Final Masquerade
-1 for adding full version of Papercut (I love that song but it's getting a little overrated for me)
+1 for adding full version of New Divide
not sure what I feel about From the Inside

This setlist is actually pretty neat. I'm glad they brought back rebellion and breaking the habit. I don't really like FM so I don't care. And I'd be cool to see the performance of DTB. Nice.

I still think it's strange that they put "A Line In The Sand" so early in the set and don't give it much fanfare

I just wonder what kind of ailment is bothering Brad this time. Isn't this like the third time his tech has replaced him live?

Watched the performance of ALITS. Ben couldn't pull off the tapping part as well as Brad.

I hear nothing different about the way Brad plays the tapping part vs. the way Benjamin plays it, other than the mixing on the Rock on the Range broadcast being awful to the point you couldn't hear Benjamin's guitar very well.
