Linkin Park's YouTube channel has just uploaded a brand new episode covering the live deput of The Hunting Party track, A Line In The Sand. The episode covers the band practicing the song to its live debut at Rock in Rio Las Vegas. Check it out below:

Since I first saw the video on YouTube before coming here I assumed it would've been a making of video for ALITS, but this was still cool.

Also, inb4 "LP be beggin 4 subz cuz no1 lykes them anymore."

Hey Linkin Park. Or Mark Fiore. Here's an idea. You don't have to spend a bunch of money on shooting a music video. No one really cares for LPTV's like this, but everyone would love a live music video. Just add a few artsy shots, and there you have your relatively low budget Linkin Park video. A lot of people will click on "A Line In The Sand (Official Music Video)", not so many on "LPTV: A Line In The Sand". It'd be a slight improvement in Linkin Park's weak promotion for the last two albums.

Thank you in advance. Not that anyone will listen.

Ditto, it's like: why restrict yourself to only roughly under 5 mins per video and only one per month?

If we were talking studio, I would strongly disagree. However, KTTK would work much better as a live song than MTG.

The LPTV was alright. I like getting more insight on the rehearsals.

But Chester sounds amazing on the studio version of KTTK :dafuq:. The voice crack is literally the only bad thing you could say about it, but I actually kind of like it. Chester's vocals on MTG in comparison are nothing special.

Because Chester's vocals are what make or break a Linkin Park song...

Mark The Graves is a 5 minute, progressive rock song with great lyrics, barring the chorus, and beautiful harmony between Mike and Chester. Not to mention Brad's two solos, both of which are fairly complex by LP standards. Keys To The Kingdom, however, is a disjointed mess for the first 2/3 of the song, with piss-poor lyrics (and before you say anything Broman, I KNOW IT WAS MEANT TO HAVE POOR LYRICS). Chester's performance is weak on the song, which is just an additional poor trait the song has. The last third of the song is great, however. The whole "hard rock UNTIL IT BREAKS" description is incredibly accurate for this one. Opinions are opinions, though.

Here we go again, Nick complaining about lyrics :p

I for one would like to see BOTH KTTK and MTG live at some point. Interesting episode!

Considering how nervous they were about performing the song, and the clear expression of "holy fuck we did it" on Mike's face at the end on the stream, I was waiting for the celebratory "hurrah" at the end.

Also classic LPTV editing to make it seem like A Line In The Sand ended the show, when in reality we got Bleed It Out for the millionth time.
