Dead set, literally just listened to The Rising Tied for the first time in years two days ago. I like the song, it's definitely got a different vibe/flow for him. Something Gambino-esque going on there. It's good, but if it's legitimately just one song I'll be disappointed.
Um, holy shit. I love this! I agree with the Kanye/Cudi comparisons. What a wonderful surprise this has been.
It would be cool if he rapped a verse of this in upcoming LP sets. Maybe where he usually does Remember the Name. I'm seeing LP in 9 days, so I hope it happens.
Those Prices ^This. Netter be more than just one song As for me, I love the song a lot. Might be the best Fort Minor song to dateand I was one who loved TRT a lot that it made my top 25 Rap albums of all time. I really hope he/they (if there is a they this time) comes out with a full album! What website? Not on Itunes yet but I believe Itunes updates on Tuesdays at 9pm PST
It's here: Welcome - Single by Fort Minor https://itun.es/us/Tkkf8 Bought it before I knew it was gonna be free for a week. Commission to Mike anyway?
The song itself is pretty cool, but he's charging 95 bucks for what's essentially a 12'' single. I don't care how much care was put into the art and whatnot, that's straight-up fan explotation.
I disagree. If people want it they'll buy it. I don't mind the price. It's worth to have something like this. He didn't have to offer the song for free either for a week especially since there isn't gonna be an album to follow this.
I mean, he did thousand pieces of these, and even signed them all. That must've been hard work, and at the same time it is supposed to be exclusive. So yeah, as long as he releases the song also normally, I don't mind. And he even brings it out for free!
It's a limited edition art piece made using real paint, of which there's only 1000 and none of them are the same, making each one essentially one of a kind. They're also signed by the artist who painted them (Mike), and none of these were prepared using printing...they're the real deal. I'd say that's a steal considering what it is.
