Through your feedback we can find a nice day to start this meet up! Patrick ______________ IDEAS: ROME - MARCH / APRIL 2016
Well, Rome would be awesome, but that'll have to be in 2016 for me. I'm already going to Paris in december, plus I have drivers lessons and school to pay for, so I can't really afford it right now
UPDATE: For now, me and others had in mind ROME - 2016 (Probably March / April) 10 Months to go, time to save money What do you think?
@all people who say they couldnt participate. Do you think 10 months to save money wouldnt be enough for you guys?
100 dollars a month, that's if I push myself really hard (Not using my money except for paying the bills). You do the math. Sorry man, living in this part of the world, with this kind of currency,it's..... Different.
I'll be in Rome in April but wouldn't be able to go since I'll be with family. FYI, from the US, you're probably looking at $1,000 for flights minimum. Plus another $1,000 for hotels for a week (although people can share rooms and split the cost), plus food, drinks and fun. I probably spent close to $3,000 for the LPA London meetup when it was all said and done. Was worth it though.
Hmm, just a suggestion, seeing as people seem to be short on cash, can't you guys choose a cheaper location? European countries generally have a high standard of living, don't they?
Flight prices are determined by distance, not standard of living in the country you're going to. You could find the cheapest, third world country with extremely low costs of living and it still might cost people $1-2000 to get to.
