What better way to close out an extraordinary tour run by holding the final North American show at the World's Largest Music Festival: Summerfest. With 11 stages, 11 days of music and over 800 performing acts, I was waiting for the one day that I would eventually make it out to Summerfest. Since 1968, Summerfest has been held annually in the great city of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I've driven through the city while Summerfest was being held, year after year, while going to my Independence Day vacation in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Each year, I've listened to the radio while going up there with the Disc Jockey's bragging about what bands their radio station has signed on to Summerfest's bill. I've seen the billboards and read the ads, however, in my 31 years of living, I've never once attended this spectacle of music. I've always heard about my favorite bands performing there and, while I always wanted to attend, I never quite had the opportunity to. That being said, my first time attending Summerfest will also be Linkin Park's first time performing both at Summerfest and in Milwaukee. I am looking forward to seeing them take the stage with A Day To Remember and I will be there, in the crowd, wearing my gold(yellow) LPAssociation shirt. If you see me, feel free to come and say hi! That being said, with Linkin Park wrapping up their North American Tour Festival dates, they will then aim their sights to the Asian and European legs of their The Hunting Party Tour. Will you be attending Summerfest? Are you excited for the show? Stop by our forums to talk about it!
I will be there. Can't fucking wait. Linkin Park killed it the last time I saw them. I'm hoping that they'll go extra hard since it's their last North American show.
They were so absolute garbage that they gave me a headache. Them and Placebo now share that mantle with me.
I didn't get to see the first band, but once I got back to my seat my friend was telling me they were awful

I'm glad I didn't look at any setlists or recordings from other recent shows, the setlist really surprised me and it was exciting, even though it most likely wasn't unique That's not really a cover, is it?
Hands down the craziest crowd I ever experienced. ADTR fans practically raped me in the pit. My back is practically broken, not sure front row was worth it this time....
Look, if you're not gonna lay it out for him, and demean me for calling it out in the first place (How else am I supposed to take that blanket dismissal of concerns?), I'm just gonna say it. Rape as an adjective describing anything other than actual rape has no place anywhere, least of all a Linkin Park forum. I get that you didn't want this to devolve into some argument, but you're doing the opposite of helping with that attitude.
I'm not demeaning you, but I am trying to curb a heated argument over a poor choice of words and/or a slip of the tongue, presumably without ill intent. This is the kind of thing you could PM about.
So where do you want us to draw the line? Is using kill to describe anything other than actual murder off limits? No more "Linkin Park completely killed it tonight"? What about robbery, as in "that goalie completely robbed him of a goal", should we disallow that too? What other verbs for crimes shall we only allow in the literal sense?
