The album is #1 in the Billboard 200, and "I Bet My Life" becomes the album's first Top 40 single. I wish they'll promote "Shots" a lot more, since it's my favorite ID song since "Selene". Also I'm still disappointed this wasn't at least in deluxe versions.

Now that I've let the album settle in, I'll have to retract my statement about Smoke + Mirrors being a better album than Night Visions. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love the album, but there's just something special about Night Visions that makes it hard to top. Smoke + Mirrors is much more compact, but there's this certain atmosphere that Night Vision brings that Smoke + Mirrors doesn't quite capture. Both are fantastic, but Night Visions has that certain debut album charm.
Yeah I haven't listened to the album since the week it came out So much other new music came out for me so I completely forgot about it.
A new video is out for the "Shots" Broiler remix, but here the band does something I, as a Vegas native, have never done: go to the Stratosphere and ride their crazy rides.
So, here's their new single "Roots"!
Since a shitton of people here sing karaoke, I present to you Daniel Platzman (the drummer) singing "Bohemian Rhapsody".
The video for "Roots" is out. Also, Imagine Dragons on The Muppets! I actually really like that song, but the video is meh. Dan looks so sad. It's worrying, knowing he's probably struggling with depression.
Here's their new song, "Not Today", from the Me Before You soundtrack.
I like it when the band makes quieter songs like these. Sometimes I think their biggest weakness is that they overproduce their stuff sometimes.
