Yeah, I saw that earlier today. That is what Bring Me The Horizon should sound and look like in 2015. Loved it.
Just came back from seeing BMTH live at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. This is straight from Issues and BMTH, we were BMTH's largest group to perform for this tour. Off the bat, major props to PVRIS. Every song was absolutely flawless, Lyn absolutely fucking nails every bit as a frontman for her band. Issues was a bit of a let down, mainly because I don't listen to much of their music, I will however say that all the moshing and shoving began here. This was, by far, the hardest show I've had to pull through. It didn't get any better. Many people were being pulled out due to suffocation. I absolutely felt like I was gonna die throughout the set, but simply pulled through. Its a tad upsetting because I was so busy trying to keep myself stable throughout their sets and exhausted myself out by the time BMTH played. Regardless, as my first time seeing them, I was impressed with how well they performed, their presence on stage almost felt like I was watching one large, epic picture. Highlight for me was Antivist, and really the only song I gave 100% attention. My friends ended up scattering and eventually gave up with trying to keep up with the crowd so they went all the way back. More props to those that survived front row alongside myself. Part of me says never again, but I'm sure the other part will prevail.
Bring Me The horizon was out roughly an hour. In total, the show went from 6:30pm to 10pm. Definitely not a bad range in terms of time. As short as the setlist was, the songs seemed like they were all never ending so I definitely feel I got my money's worth
Just saw them tonight in AZ. They played in an outdoor venue so I didn't have the problem that Broman did. Or setlist was different than the one posted in this thread as well. Same songs but a different order. Our show was part of a mimi festival as well. It was called Mesa Meltdown. Night one, which I also went to, was Nothing More. Breaking Benjamin, and Shinedown. That show was also insane! Very different contrast of shows but I guess AZ likes to do that as a festival a couple weeks ago had Jimmy Eat World headline a night and Kanye West another. Our shows setlist for BMTH: Doomed Happy Song Go to Hell, for Heaven's Sake The House of Wolves Chelsea Smile Can You Feel My Heart Shadow Moses Throne Sleepwalking True Friends Antivist Encore: Blessed with a Curse Drown As for the show itself: Show was the craziest show I have been too! The opening acts PVRIS and Issues rocked the house, but Bring Me The Horrizon destroyed the opening acts. I thought I would get annoyed from Ollie not singing all the time but it actually translates well unlike 30STM. Setlist was killer! If you add Diamonds Aren't Forever to that setlist it would be nearly perfect for me for a That's The Spirit setlist! Glad I went even though the crowd was insane! As far as PVRIS goes they sounded alright but I need to listen to their studio work to judge as I have never heard it before. This is going to sound very sexist and believe me it's not actually, I'm just very critical of Woman singers especially in rock bands. On a regular basis I listen to 1 rock band with a Female voice and it's Hey Monday a pop rock band. Straight up female rock voices never seemed to do much for me besides some exceptions. I will check out their studio work and judge from there however. Everyone deserves a fair shot. Edit: oh and Chelsea Smile doesn't sound the same anymore And I was also impressedan how rock the album sounded when translated to a live setting.
I don't think I'd go to a BMTH show if they weren't playing The House of Wolves. That song is everything.
I know its a month later, but I just wanted to state that Oli does in fact sing the "I think we're doomed" portion. He mentions it in an interview.
Shoot, you are right! Electro-pop, pop, post-hardcore. You honestly couldn't tell by listening to them live though. They sounded like a rock band. Maybe I will enjoy their studio more. How I feel about Sleepwalking

That article blew that way out of proportion. It seemed like a pretty indifferent comment to me. God knows Sykes doesn't think twice before saying anything, and that tweet is no exception. But nevertheless, it seemed like a random passing comment rather than announcing a lawsuit.
It's sacred geometry, the flower of life. It's a symbol that has existed long before BMTH. Don't know why anyone is making a big deal out of it.
