I guess the fact that they never remade "Carousel". Other than that, LP hasn't dissapointed me at all.
I really like both albums, but they definitely could have been better named. Especially LIVING THINGS and the EVERYTHING IN CAPS bullshit. What was all that about?
"The Hunting Party" is an alright title. I think we just discuss a lot whether the music lives up to it, which I think it mostly does As for having titles in all-caps, my personal philosophy is that the song really has to deserve that ... which is vague, but you know it a song that deserves an all-caps title when you hear it.

Well, i think the band couldnt care less about such "douchebags". They know what they did with changing their style since 2004.
True, you're right. It's just that they're still human and it's always going to hurt in some way. You just have to find a way of dealing with such things and the band have been exceptional at that. I don't know how they do it, especially with the dickhead writers and critics they dealt with early in their career.
Confirmation bias - you only remember the instances where it happened, you forget the rest. This is actually the band's entire catalogue in a nutshell. You just summarised the lyrical/thematic content of basically all their songs in one-and-a-half sentences.
