I'm slightly sad that they didn't write a big sexy hook that the guys would really dig. Jack Sparrow!!
Okay, just listened to the song for the first time. As I used to listen to the Lonely Island a lot I can recognize that comedy can be made into good music. This song, hwoever, falls short of being comical and being a good song. The versus feel lazy to me, Andy's flow sounds uninspired, and Chester's Choruses are very weird. I also don't understand why it says featuring Linkin Park. Unless Joe helped on the beat, I feel like only Chester is in this song. One positive to this song is Chester's screams. The screams sound great.
I just think the song lacks a punchline. That's the major flaw which all the other flaws stem from. Anyway, there's still that one bit before "a novella" that I can't make out. As for why it says "Linkin Park", Shinoda might've done additional vocals somewhere, or co-produced or co-written or something.
Negative Nancy's.... Anyway, Steve Aoki songs said they featured LP but also are pretty much just Mike and Chester features. But yeah, I enjoyed the LI song for what it is
During the "These are the things in my" build you can hear Mike. These are the things in my build. Also I can hear guitar in the final part that the band may or may not have produced. Also wouldn't be surprised if Mike supplied the piano in the bridge. And can I just say that I love how chester says "Hey" during the bridge?
Nah, I got it on Google, so it's not just iTunes @Elaine: yeah, I thought that was Shinoda too, so you're not alone. Also, I think Chester sings "hi"
It's mangled in just the right way to be almost indecipherable in a very intentional way, which is why I love it.
Not sure how I feel about this. It's ok, I was expecting something a bit more but then again it's a 2 minute song. Hey though, at least it's something.
Nobody talking about the last part "These are the things / all of the things". It shows Chester's potential. I think it sounds pretty cool. And i can hear Mike at the outro, after the second verse. (Almost) definetely at "A broken stapler / some crumpled paper".
I have a feeling this is actually the kind of music LP makes anyway when they're just fucking around and too stressed out
Thanks for the lyrics! But Shinoda definitely sings "These are the things in my jeep" in the background of the chorus heard in the iTunes-preview.
Mike is there, It sounds like he's in the Chorus' betetr heard with headphones cause I couldn't hear him on regular speakers. Could be Andy, but really sounds Mike-ish. I know its a joke song, but I love Chester's ending vocals haha. So soulful haha.
