https://soundcloud.com/juliengmusic/final-masquerade-jgm-version This is my kind of personal version of Final Masquerade. It's very close to the original one structure wise and I even tried to replicate the lead guitar. That's why I'm not calling it remix Tell me what you think ♥
That version sounds great! I really like drum work and guitars. Can you tell me where did you get drum samples? They sound great, I would like to use them in my songs too.
For this kit I used samples from this pack: http://store.samplephonics.com/products/hip-hop-crate-diggers then some free ones from here: https://annodominination.com/store/free-producer-tools/ This one as a foundation: http://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/17325/old-crusty-by-lelandchapman-free-92bpm-hip-hop-drum-loop I'm working with loops a lot recently, altering those is pretty fun
Earlier this year, I was pretty heavy on pre-made breaks as well, and I was using them in, like, everything as a basis for rhythms. Decay was, like, "dude, you gotta stop"
I often use them to materialize ideas quickly, also breaking them down to samples is what I do a lot. Though I know what he means, there's always a kind of bad aftertaste to it. Keeping it original is important.
