This is one of the few Shikari songs that hasn't clicked with me from the start. It's not as heavy as people make it out to be (There's a Price on Your Head feels heavier to me) and it lacks any sort of really interesting melodic content.

Hoping it'll be better after repeat listens.

    Uhm.

    DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT
    DO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT
    DOCUMENTATION

    On a serious note:
Redshift kind of pandered to the mainstream radio, while this song is less accessible.
I like both tracks but neither of them really stand out that much in their discography.
I do think I like this track more than Redshift, because it does have some really interesting shifts in melody and mood. The contrast between the A and B verses is pretty fucking drastic.
I guess my only real problem with the song is that the bridge of the song doesn't really do anything interesting compared to the rest of the track.
The lyrics are also a bit cryptic and I can't quite make sense of it all.

From what I have heard and seen, Rou has pretty much stated it has to do with the refugee crisis.

    EDIT: Was wrong btw

The guys have been posting a slightly modified version of the Take To The Skies art work with the caption #TTTS2017, possible tour? I mean they just got into the studio. . .

I wouldn't put a small UK tour to celebrate the 10th of TTTS past them. That's what I feel would be the most feasible thing to do.

Yeah, that's what I figured, too bad I'm stuck all the way here in Canada, it'd be awesome to see all of TTTS played again. It'd be nice if they ran a reprint of the CD though, I can never seem to find one at any retailer or online. . .

REVISON: AFFoC was released on the 9th of January but Shikari lumped it with Rou's birthday today.

    Regardless, yay! :p

Just got back form the Toronto Enter Shikari show, it was fucking intense.

They played through much of TTTS, adding some mindsweep in between. It was cool hearing those songs live, especially Today won't go down in history.

Today Won't Go Down In History is one of my faves on TTTS. Rou said in a recent interview that this song actually wouldn't sound out of place on their upcoming album.

Yeah I saw, super excited about that.
Total side note: The Shikari show was my first "real" live gig. Everyone was super friendly, but it was still weird the only guy there wearing a turban lol, the moshing was intense, especially during on No Ssweat, I stayed away though lol.

How are we all feeling about Supercharge?

Also, I decided to look for the Dear Future Historians book and it was half the price it was when it came out. I jumped on that offer immediately and it arrived about an hour ago. So excited.

Sorry for double posting, but i wanted to revive this thread since Enter Shikari are going to release their new album "The Spark" on September the 22nd.
The album is up for pre-order on their store. They also released a new song (+video) called "Live Outside".
It looks like Supercharge won't be on it, as it's a stand alone single.

Edit: Forgot to post the video

    Yep, it's quite catchy :)
Apparently the album version is about one minute longer! The promo video contains an edited version.

After first listen it's a good album but way worse than The Mindsweep. I don"t think they will ever The Mindsweep
I love slow music but I feel for Enter Shikari this album was way too slow. Like 75% of the album is slow.
I'll have to give to more listens obviously but I think it'll sit as #4 on their album rankings.

Favorite songs on first listen: The Sights, Live Outside, and Undercover Agents
