Extremely disappointed in Chester Bennington.

I think it's terrible that Chester has such misinformed, arrogant views on politics.. and after being disappointed by the last two albums - I may end up completely giving up on Linkin Park, especially if Chester's jaded political views find their way into the lyrics for the seventh album.

This comment from Chester.. puts him in the same extreme leftist sellout ranks as Amy Schumer, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Jay Z. He chose to support a murderer, a woman who intimidated rape victims into silence.. a woman who was the elites' main puppet for ushering in a New World Order, which would have isolated all of us from one another.. thrown us into countless world wars and destroyed our rights to privacy.

Thank God Donald Trump won. He will restore peace between America and Russia, he will put an end to the terror in the middle east.. which Obama and Clinton so obviously helped to stay rampant. The U.S. government created this threat so they could have an excuse to take over the Middle East and become the one and only global superpower.. to serve the elites' evil agendas. Donald Trump will stamp out much of the corruption in the U.S. Government, while lazy.. brainwashed Clinton supporters will find every way under the sun to label him racist and blame for everything that goes wrong. Regardless, he will continue to serve the people.. and he WILL go down as one of the best presidents of all time when history judges him.

The one "racist" action Trump has taken, was advising his staff to encourage black people not to stay at his hotel in the 80s. Of course that was a mistake, but if Trump can be judged for this all these years later.. then Hillary must answer to all those political decisions which helped to usher in wars in the Middle East and the deaths of thousands of innocents. Not to mention the NAFTA agreement (created by Bill Clinton, and which Hillary supported) which resulted in mass unemployment for African Americans around the United States.

Chester used to be a musical hero of mine, but now he has shown himself to be morally bankrupt. It doesn't matter whether his agent advised him to say this, or if he recieved a $50,000 cheque to openly support this person.. he has sold out as a human being. Hillary Clinton is categorically the most evil person to ever run for President.

First of all, he's not gonna force his political views on the lyrics of the new album, they've been developing an overarching theme for the album for months now. Second, are you really surprised he supports Hillary? Someone who lives in LA? My guess would be that every member of Linkin Park voted for her. And also, who cares? He has a different opinion than you, cool. He's not forcing upon you, he tweeted about it twice. He could've been like other popular artists, constantly making a big deal about it, shouting to their fans about it at concerts. But he didn't. So why does it matter?

Oh wait, it doesn't. Get over it.

I think Ted Nugent is a fucking idiot for supporting Trump, but that's not going to stop me from listening to his classics.

Can I ask what your sources are regarding your allegations on Hillary Clinton?

Chester's views don't mean that he's morally bankrupt. Maybe he sees things about Trump that others don't. He has experience and has seen so many different things happen around the world. That probably effects his moral views significantly.

Also, Trump has probably brainwashed people more than any other president in history. That's just his campaign though. I's presumptuous to speak about his presidency yet. He did a pretty good job of selling himself as the outsider, the every day man, when really he's one of the most elite conglomerate billionaires in the world. I'm not trying to judge him by his wealth. Just saying that he can't relate to working class people, so how is it that he can sell a message and have people buy into it?

Gotta give him a chance, sure. Just saying that it's a double-standard for you to call someone brainwashed when Trump has done the same thing by marketing himself as some kind of revolutionary outsider, when his entire life has said otherwise.

Who cares? Both candidates were a total joke anyway. Trump will continue and expand the wars just like Hillary would have and just like Obama continued and expanded Bush's wars. It doesn't matter who wins elections anymore, the Military Industrial Complex and Wall Street will get what their way regardless of what the American people want.

 

Everything has already been said, so as a socialist (to avoid confusion, you can boil my views down to three words: "democratize the enterprise"), I feel obliged to respond to this. Hillary is hardly on the left, and the same goes for anyone who supports her. So please don't call these liberals extreme leftists. It's annoying, it's wrong, and it's a disservice to those who really stand for the working people.

 

In addition, how does one tweet place Chester among the same people who are actively endorsing Hillary, and even performing concerts just to emphasize their support for her? This guy is definitely way overreacting.

This is such a non-issue. He is allowed to have his own opinion, just as you are allowed to have yours. Don't take it personally. God forbid someone having a political view different to yours.

Hillary's supporters are causing 99% of the chaos you're seeing on the streets right now. Fact. There's also a lot of evidence that George Soros is funding protesters to escalate it.

Fortunately, he asks to vote, and not to vote for Hillary. Chester surely wants, with this tweet, his audience to vote for their country and to express themselves about their political beliefs. He does have the right to post about his political beliefs whenever he wants, and it's up to his followers to make their mind and to choose who to vote for.

 

I don't watch CNN. I'm not even a leftist, nor do affiliate myself with any political party. You still haven't named your sources though. A lot of what you said just sounds like conspiracy theories. Confirmation bias doesn't equate to facts.
