Around 2005/06 i was crazy about LP's artwork in general (Even the not official ones). I would spent hours looking them on google at my friends house, and saving on cd's to keep it on my computer (at some point i had something close to 700 pictures/artworks). The most remarkable for me is this one: Fun fact: I didn't knew about the LPAssociation at the time. So for me this is an official Linkin Park artwork, and it's the one i will always remember the most. It brings a lot of childhood memories. I would like to congratulate the person who did this. So, which is yours?
2006-2007 (not sure which year) Stands out to me because it was shot at the Mansion owned by Rick Rubin. Represents the most significant turning point of their career. The band started to free themselves from everything. Also represents a time of uncertainty and searching.
I always liked this one. It's just a boss pic. None of that trendy-for-a-while shit these other pictures have going on. None of that childishness or whatever. It just says "we're like 40 and we just wrote this fucking hard rock album, deal with it". All black, boots, and shit. Shinoda and Bourdon rocking some very nice coats. I like it.
this one definitely brings back memories of getting into the band as ATS was coming out. I just loved the lighting and mood of this pic
This one from the Living Things era has always stood out to me. I've always loved the lighting and color of it.
That same image in the Meteora colors minus all the overlays and with the Meteora-era band logo is on a large flag I have in my room.
The most hilarious thing about that wallpaper (the blue Meteora one featured in the first post of this thread) is that has been used in TONS of bootleg Linkin Park merchandise, including shirts, phone cases, posters etc. Infact, I'm pretty sure that very artwork is hanging up in a bar in Romania right now, as I saw a picture of it once.
Definitely one of the cooler themes for LPU, along with all the other band members in this form. I really liked their style for Living Things and immediately after, when THP pictures in all black came I was a little iffy about them, but after I heard the album I started to appreciate the style they had made around it.
Classic Romania When I bought "Living Things", I was really hoping those images would be in the booklet. I was pretty disappointed
Seeing that picture a lot actually has deterred me from those bootleg LP merchandise. As for the most remarkable picture/my favorite Linkin Park band picture for me? It has to be this one by a mile. It just screams "iconic rock band" to me, and I had it as my wallpaper for a while back in 2010.
This, no doubt. This for me is a far cry from their baggy pants, hot red hair and nu metal cliches. They look professional. They look like a legit band. When they released this photo, lots of casual listeners were legit shocked at how different they look.
