I think that every artist/band nowadays release singles months before the album drops. BMTH released Drown a whole YEAR before TTS came out.

And now that I think about it, they could be filming for the actual video coming up and when they did the photo shoot/video shoot that could be a lyric video with some live action shots like Until It's Gone. So they'll have the lyric video for the premiere of the song online and then the actual music video a little later on? Just a guess
